Robert Chamberlin, of Concord, was the son of Elizabeth, wife of Francis Hickman, by a former husband, and was doubtless born in the neighborhood of Marlborough, in Wiltshire, England.  Some of Elizabeth's children came to this country in advance of their mother.  Son  Robert and Mary  had a son, Robert b. 8-17-1694. He married twice; first to Sarah Woodward, and second to Cicele...he died in Concord in the winter of 1731-2 and left children, Jacob, Susanna, Robert, John and James.
