St. Paul's Reformed Church

St Paul's Reformed Church, in Uwchlan twp. was built in 1838 and a congregation organized the same year.  The Lutheran congregation assisted in building the church, and the two congregations worshiped in it on alternate Sundays till 1851, when the Reformed congregation purchased the interests of the Lutherans.  Rev Jesse B Knipe was the pastor from the time of organization till 1-1-1881, when he resigned.  Rev A K Thompson is now pastor (1881).
