"In the Name of God Amen. The Thirteenth day of December in the year of our Lord one Thousand, Seven Hundred & Eighty-Six"
"I Adam Moses of the Township of Pikeland in the County of Chester & State of Pennsylvania, being Sick and Weak in Body, but of Perfect mind & Memory, Thanks be to Almighty God therefor; Calling to mind the Mortality of my Body and that it is Appointed for all Menance to Die, do make this my last Will & Testament."
"As touching my Worldly Estate wherewith it hath Pleased God to bless me with in this Life; I Give, devise and dispose of the Same in the following Manner and Form."
"IMPRIMIS. It is my Will and I do Order that my Just Debts and funeral Charges be paid & Satisfied by my Executors herein after Named."
"ITEM. I give and Bequeath unto my Beloved Wife Catherin Moses my best Bed and Bedding and all my Household Goods & Kitching [Kitchen] furniture now or will be in my House at the time of my Decease and I give her one Cow and two Sheep and one Hog; and Priveledge to live in the House where I now live in and the use of the Stove Plates now in said House during her Natural Life Time and it is my Will and I do Order that my son John Moses his Heirs or Assigns Shall Deliver unto my said Wife Ten Bushels of Wheat and Ten Bushels of Rye and one third of all Indian Corn and Buckwheat Yearly and every year as Shall be Raised on my Plantation in Pikeland Township aforesaid during my said Wife Life time and my Son John Moses is to find Sufficient Pasture and fother [fodder] for a Cow for my said Wife and as much fire wood as will be necessary for her Haled and Cut fit for the Stove and Hearth in said House and Plow, Sow, & Harrow Quarter of an acre for flax on my Plantation Yearly & every Year during my said Wifes Life Time and during said Time She is to have the Priveledge to keep two Swine on said premises and the Garden adjoining my said House and the Profit thereof my said Son John Moses his Heirs or Assigns is to find Pasture and feed for said two Sheep Yearly & every year during said time and feed or Pasture for their increase until the middle of September every year of said time, and Stables for said Cow & Sheep, all the above Legacy I give unto my Said Wife in Lieu of her Dower."
"ITEM. I give Bequeath & devise unto my Son John Moses his Heirs & Assigns all my Lands & Plantation Situate in the Township of Pikeland he my Said Son John Moses his Heirs & Assigns performing and fulfilling what I have herein Willed and Bequeathed for him and them to perform unto my Said Wife as aforesaid. And also to Pay into the Hands of my Executors the Sum of Two Hundred Pounds in Gold or Silver Money in Manners following. That is to Say Thirty three Pounds Six Shillings & Eight pence part of Said Two Hundred Pounds at the Expiration of one year after my Decease, and Thirty three Pounds Six Shillings & Eight pence part of Said Two Hundred Pounds at the Expiration of Two Years after my Decease, And Thirty three Pounds Six Shillings & Eight Pence part of Said Two Hundred Pounds at the Expiration of Three Years after my Decease, And Thirty three Pounds Six Shillings & Eight Pence more part of Said Two Hundred Pounds at the Expiration of four Years after my Decease, and Thirty three Pounds Six Shillings & Eight Pence more part of Said Two Hundred Pounds at the Expiration of five Years after my Decease, and Thirty three Pounds Six Shillings & Eight Pence more the Residue or Remainder of Said Two Hundred Pounds at the Expiration of Six Years after my Decease, and it is my Will and I do order that my Executors do put each Payment as aforesaid when they Receive the Same upon Interest and said Interest Shall be converted as much as will be Necessary thereof towards the Support of my beloved Wife Catherin Moses."
"ITEM. I give and Bequeath unto my Son Jacob Moses the Sum of Thirty three Pounds Six Shillings & Eight pence to be Delivered unto him by my Executors at the Expiration of Two years after my said Wife's Decease."
"ITEM. I give and Bequeath unto my Daughter Catherin Smith the Sum of Thirty three Pounds Six Shillings & Eight pence to be Delivered unto her by my Executors at the Expiration of one year after my said Wife's Decease."
"ITEM. I give and Bequeath unto my Son John Moses the Sum of Thirty three Pounds Six Shillings & Eight pence to be Delivered unto him by my Executors at the Expiration of Three Years after my Wife's Decease if my said Executors at that time will have Received the third Payment as aforesaid for my Plantation aforesaid."

I give and Bequeath unto my Son Henry Moses the Sum of Thirty three Pounds Six Shillings & Eight pence to be Delivered unto him by my Executors at the Expiration of four years after my Wife's Decease if my said Executors at that time will have Received the fourth Payment as aforesaid for my Plantation aforesaid."
"ITEM. I give and Bequeath unto my Son Peter Moses the Sum of Thirty three Pounds Six Shillings & Eight pence to be Delivered unto him by my Executors at the Expiration of five years after my Wife's Decease if my said Executors will have Received the fifth Payment as aforesaid for my Plantation aforesaid."
"ITEM. I give and Bequeath unto my Daughter Mary Angle King the Sum of Thirty three Pounds Six Shillings & Eight pence to be Delivered unto her by my Executors at the Expiration of Six Years after my Wife's Decease if my said Executors will have Received the sixth Payment as aforesaid for my Plantation aforesaid."
"ITEM. It is my Will and I do hereby Order that my Bed & Bedding my Household Good & Kitchen furniture, Cow & Sheep & Stove Plates, after the Decease of my Said Wife, be Exposed to Sale by Publick Vendue by my Executors and the Money Price therefor, as also the Interest that will Remain and not made Use of for the Support of my Wife as abovesaid, be Divided Equally into Six Shares and Delivered by my Executors unto my Said Children Jacob Moses, Catherin Smith, John Moses, Henry Moses, Peter Moses, & Mary Angle King Share & Share alike and that in one year after my Wife's Decease And the Rest of my Estate after my Just Debts & funeral Expenses be paid & Satisfied as aforesaid I do Will and Order to be Divided and Delivered by my Executors unto my above named Children Share and Share alike and that at the Expiration of one year after my Decease or as soon as my Executors can lawfully Recover the Money due to my Estate."

I do hereby Constitute, make and Ordain my Sons in law Valentine Smith and Philip King both of the Township of Pikeland aforesaid my Sole and Joynt Executors of this my Last Will and Testament And I do hereby utterly disallow Revoke and disannul all and every other former Testaments, Wills, Legacies and Executors, by me before this time Named, Willed & Bequeathed Ratifying and Confirming this and no other to be my Last Will and Testament, In Witness whereof I have hereunto Set my Hand and Seal the day & Year first above written."
