FLOWER, Richard, son of Richard and Mary, born, it is supposed, in Leicestershire, England, married Abigail Harlan, 12,17,1724-5, daughter of Michael and Dinah Harlan, of Londongrove, where they settled.  Richard died about the year 1748, and his widow several years later.  Their children were

• Thomas, b. 10,27,1725, d. unmarried, 8th mo., 1755

• Mary, b. 10,14,1727, m. Isaac Starr and Samuel Sharp

• Richard, b. 7,3,1730, m. 9,25,1754, Alice Harlan

• Dinah, b. 10,27,1732, d. 11th mo., 1758.  Dinah Flower, daughter of Richard and Alice, married Abraham Sharpless.
