Gunnar Rambo, born January 1649, eldest son of the 4 Rambo Brothers. He married a daughter of Peter Larsson Cock - Anna cock, born ca 1652. Their eldest son, John Rambo, apparently was hired out to another family, for wasn't at home for the 1693 census of Swedes on the Delaware. Living at home were Peter (born 1678), Gunnar (born 1680), Anders (born 1682), Mans (born 1684), Brigitta (born 1685), Gabriel (born 1687), and Matthias (born 1690). As a resident of Shackamaxon, Gunnar served on the Pennsylvania Assembly in 1685. He sold his Shackamaxon plantation in 1697, and moved, with son John, to Matsunk on the Schuylkill, in Upper Merion Township. Gunnar died there in January 1724, at the age of 75. His wife predeceased him.
