Chester County Wills

Patrick Kehoe, 1876

In the name of God amen. I Patrick KEHOE of the Township of East Fallowfield in the County of Chester and State of Pennsylvania, being weak in body, and of sound mind, memory and understanding, do make and publish this my last will and testament in manner and form Following to wit,

First it is my Will and I do order that all my just debts and funeral expenses be duly paid and satisfied as soon as conveniently can be after my decease. Item: I give and bequeath unto my sister Rosey RYAN the sum of Four hundred dollars, to her or her heirs.

Item: I give and bequeath unto my Wife Elizabeth, and my five children, Mary, Edward, Charles, Joseph and John the balance or remainder of my Real and personal Estate to be divided equally between them share and share alike, to them or the heirs.

Item: And I do order, that my Executor, hereafter named shall as soon as conveniently may be after my decease, sell and dispose of my Real Estate to such person of persons and for such price or prices, as may be reasonably gotten for the same. And for that purpose I do hereby authorize and empower my said executor, to sign, seal, execute, and acknowledge, all such deed or deeds, of conveyance as may be requisite and necessary, for the granting and assuring the same to the purchase or purchases, there of in fee simple, and lastly I nominate, constitute, and appoint Patrick MURPHY to be the executor of this my Will and declaring this and no other to be my last will and testament.
